Worldwide Taekwon-Do honours General Choi Hong Hi by teaching the very Art of Taekwon-Do as General Choi taught it. General Choi spent his lifetime perfecting his Art of Taekwon-Do and his dedication to this end makes Taekwon-Do, his Legacy, a gift to truly treasure. Worldwide Taekwon-Do is dedicated to preserving Taekwon-Do in it’s most pure form and regularly bestows it’s members the opportunity to train with General Choi's most trusted aides and students whom embody a wealth of experience often from the General’s personal tuition.
The Chang-Hon system of Taekwon-Do is a Legacy that we have embraced to it’s fullest extent. General Choi dedicated his life to leaving the World this Legacy and regardless of political adjunction, all Taekwon-Do practitioners are encouraged to learn and in turn, teach this dynamic art of self-defence as General Choi refined, honed and taught it. We strive to provide our members and fellow Taekwon-Do practitioners the opportunity to study the full art of Taekwon-Do from the very Masters and Grand Masters whom still teach the Art as General Choi himself founded and passed on.

Our Guiding Principle
Taekwon-Do under the guidance of the late Founder, General Choi became popular the world over. His dedication to refining and teaching his Art right up until his passing stands testament to his single-minded determination to leave his legacy in it’s most purest form. It is somewhat unfortunate that his many successors, all claiming to be the unique incumbent authority have seemingly started divesting themselves from these teachings if for no other reason but to differentiate themselves from their other would-be incumbent claimants. General Choi made Taekwon-Do his life’s work and sadly it would seem that in the wake of his passing, many of us have diverged our teachings under the guidance of these incumbents in whom we’ve trusted. It has increasingly become difficult to not see this for what it is and it is clear either unknowingly or otherwise these incumbents are dishonouring General Choi's teachings by this divergence, a divergence many see as nothing more than a misguided attempt to show ‘Progress’ under their leadership.
We intend to sustain the Teachings of General Choi and honour his life’s dedication to Taekwon-Do by passing on Taekwon-Do as he taught and his most dedicated students continue to teach. We hope that someday the various Incumbent Leaders come to realise the strength in unification of the Art of Taekwon-Do as the General created and lived his life by.
Leading Leaders
Worldwide Taekwon-Do is not a Political or Federated Body but a collection of Taekwon-Do Loyalist Students, Instructors, Masters and Grand Masters whom have chosen to Honour General Choi and his Legacy by embodying his teachings to that end. We offer as much as possible in the way of direct access to many of General Choi's most dedicated Masters and Grand Masters many of whom were directly and personally guided by the General Choi himself. Many of these figures feature prominently in the History of Taekwon-Do including such prominent figures as some of the original 12 Masters sent forth by the General to spread Taekwon-Do around the world. Worldwide Taekwon-Do also offers Full Certification of Rank along with International Instructor and Umpire Certification to General Choi’s applicable Standard for those willing to undergo the appropriate education and examination to said standards.
The New Generation
True to Taekwon-Do, we also offer members the opportunity to not only learn from the World’s most Prominent Proponents of Taekwon-Do but we also cater for the competitive aspects by way of Local, State, National and International Tournaments, hosting many of these events giving you the opportunity to refine your competitive spirit and promote your School. All competitions and promotional events are non-compulsory and as with all events and seminars with Worldwide Taekwon-Do, are optional and not compulsory for the progression of you or your fellow members.
In Closing
As much as our Events and Seminars are not compulsory for Membership, we ask that as an applicant member or school, you honour the Founder by making every effort to learn and teach the Art of Taekwon-Do as General Choi created and refined before his passing. Taekwon-Do is an extensive and holistic system of effective, powerful and dynamic self-defence with a wealth of documented knowledge and a plethora of embodied experience in the many living proponent Masters and Grand Masters available to us today. These opportunities are in no way exclusive to Members, attendance by Non-Members is also encouraged as Worldwide Taekwon-Do is Not a Political Body but a collection of Members dedicated to the study of our Founder’s Legacy.
